Date: Wednesday July 18 2012 14:12 From: Ginny Domm Stocum (Victor, NY, USA), I lived in Asmara from 1970 to 1973 - my father was stationed at Kagnew Station. I'm always looking for friends who went to school there during that time period.
My family lived off base and next door to an Ethiopian family who had 2 daughters the same ages as my sister and I were back then (teen-agers). One of the girls was named Mebrat. We took her and her sister to see a movie (Oliver Twist) on the base once - not sure they understood all that was being said in the movie but they enjoyed themselves!
I would love to find Mebrat again.
