Hello Mebrat Tzehaie,
Really good job with your pages.
I'm a television-journalist and documentarist. I was looking for informations about
Eritrea and Dahlak-Archipelago. I found them on your pages! Many thanks.
I hope local authorities in Eritrea might help us to make some great naturalistic and
touristic documentary-films at your country. Thanks a lot for your homepage.
Sincerely, Diego.

Thank you very much for the great web-site.
I work with a women named Eritrea, and when she told me her name was spelled like
the country my first reaction was that we were not understanding each other's English.
If you have time, can you please tell me what I can do to make her feel more happy this
Christmas? (I think her and her daughter is very isolated in Canada)
Thank-you, Meli

I also attended school in Camboni.
If anyone remembers me or my brother Michael, pls. lets get in touch.
Thanks again for the memories.
I thought that your site was great. I learned alot about the people of Eritrea, and their
capital city Asmara. Im happy that you showed the progress of the Eritrean people the cities
and also historical buildings. I think sometime in the future I would like to take a trip
there.
I love Eritrea, I want know many informations about
possibilities for extrangers (Italian people) of investements and
proprietiers (house and other) because I want live here.
Hi Mebrat,
Like all the visitors I would like to tell you, to keep up the good work.
It is nice to find some information about my country. There were allot of facts I did not know
about.
Goed om dingen te over Eritrea te zien en lezen. Ik ben er sinds mijn zevende niet meer
geweest.
Groetjes,
Selemoen
Dear Mebrat Tzehaie
I cannot empasise enough how pleased I feel to browse through this Page.
I was born in Asmara myself and lived in Eritrea upto 1967.
You have certainly rekindled old and very fond memories of the country, its
people and its traditions.
I have been living in England since 1967 and luckily I can now get 'berbere'
and all other ingredients which I have also introduced to my own family in
this country.... and they love it.
I wonder if you could perhaps give me the recipe of how to prepare 'injera'.
I will like to hear from you and of Eritrea.
With sincere thanks
Costas Stylianidis
I am proud of you, keep up the good work. God Bless you.
I truly enjoyed the pictures you have posted. for a person who just came back from 3 month
trip to Eritrea. I appreciated the pictures on the children selling gum and "soft" on the street
the most. I felt, it served an educating tool. In reviving awarness amongest, Eritreans who are
living outside Eritrea, and never seen it for themselves.
Thanx

I was an orphan child at the school of nursing in Asmara. Than I went to Comboni for four years
before I came to America. I lived in Asmara from 1956-1969. I have lost contact with everyone
and every thing that was part of my life in Asmara. Thank-you again for a wonderful trip and
contact with something I thought was lost. Tonight my daughter and I had a beautiful evening
walking thru my Asmara and the new Asmara. it is as beautiful as I remembered it to be.
with great heartfelt thank-you
and great love from a sister

I lived in Asmera when I was little. My father was stationed on Kagnew Army base. His name was
captain Joseph Warnack. I lived there in 1962 and 63. Although my memories are few, I still
recall how wonderful the people were. I would love to go back and see it again. I wonder if
the house we lived in is still standing. It was across the street from a church where the road
circled around it. It was off base and down the street.

The pictures and stories are wonderful!
I was stationed at Kagnew Station in Asmara, from 1967-1969. I have many fond and wonderful memories of Eritrea.
My wife and I plan to travel to Asmara in 2002. We will continue to reference your Website and keep updated on the latest news.

Thank you for the lovely view of Eritrea. I am a Minister and I plan to locate
my mission in Eritrea to help those in need. Because of you I am able to reach
through mail the company that offers tapes on learning the Trigrinya language.
This was my concern until I viewed your website.
God bless you!

Great overview of Eritrea . . .
Very close friends of mine are Eritreans from Asmara. I am going to their house very soon
for some lamb Zigini and coffee . . .
Now I know to bring some popcorn to add to the coffee ceremony. I feel very fortunate because
they will teach me how to make the Zigini and Ancheta.
Thanks!
